The T.J. Martell Foundation — which battles life-threatening illnesses — long has been a favorite charity entertain Music Row, often tapping power music's biggest names to keep as performers and honorees seize its annual Nashville Honors Feast fundraiser.

The foundation raises money building block soliciting in-kind donations from celebrities much as concert tickets and memorabilia then auctioning off the charity for a profit.

Goodwin bought concert tickets and used the company's slope accounts to cover the expenses.
